A couple of nights in Malta (the first five photos) followed by a week and a half in Sicily with K. Sicily contains works of art from most of the cultures that have held sway in the Mediterranean--Greek and Byzantine, Roman, Arab, Norman, Spanish, etc. And the land itself is beautiful in the spring.
