K and I spent a few days in Rome, then after a day in Pompeii we spent a week in Tuscany and Umbria. After K left I drove up to Ravenna for a day before heading to Ethiopia. Italy is the country that springs to mind whenever anyone asks me to name a favorite--an unfair question in any case.
