WorldTravel > ChrisKean1  > Africa > Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, January 2009
After K left Kenya for work, I took a couple of weeks' trip by bus through Uganda, Rwanda (including the mandatory gorilla pilgrimage) and Burundi. Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda is among the more eye-catching destinations I've been to in Africa, and I was very pleasantly surprised by Burundi, which seems finally to be emerging from years of war. The gorillas were a highlight.

ChrisKean1 > Leopard, Mweya, Queen Elizabeth NP, Uganda. This is here just to put all would-be wildlife photographers on notice to be prepared at all times. The leopard was just sitting by the side of the road as we went by in a taxi. By the time I got the camera out (and also owing to the low light), this is what I got. I do have a nice film of it, though.
